Pattern: Based on instructions found at Running With Scissors’ (RWS) blog - tinyurl.com/shirredskirtwithpockets. Terrific instructions and photos. I added one front and two small back pleats for better fit, the rest is all her. Ms. RWS based this skirt on one that she saw at Anthropologie, I can totally see that. The pockets take the skirt from serviceable to adorable.
Fabric: 100% grey linen from Joann’s.
Elastic: Elastic thread for shirring and along very top 1/2” woven elastic.
I love this thing.
Details
Pattern: Based on Anna Maria Horner’s Pincushion Caddy project in her Seams to Me book; however, basically followed texasfreckles.com’s supplemental instructions.
Fabric: All Anna Maria Horner, from Drawing Room, Garden Party & Good Folks lines.
Interfacing: Pellon 809 Decor Bond. This worked very well, sturdy & is iron-on bonded one side.
